About Me/Race Results

Hi, I'm Ann and I'm relatively new to triathlon, but I'm already hooked!  Thanks for visiting my page and supporting my causes.

Interesting facts about me:
  • I was in the Army for 8 years, to include 15 months in Iraq.
  • I currently live in the Grafenwoehr, Germany area.
  • Before moving to Germany, we lived in Poland for three years.  Yes, Poland, the European country.  Not Portland. (Many people have made this mistake.)
  • My undergrad and masters are in engineering, but I've never actually been an engineer.
  • 2010 was my first season of triathlons and my first and second race were the same weekend!
  • My best discipline is running; I've been a runner since doing the mile run in third grade.  
Upcoming 2016 Events:

  • Labor Day Time Trial, Weiden, May 7th
  • Riding from Germany to Estonia (about 2000km), June 1 - June 15
  • Possibly some half distance races after we move

  • Ironman South Africa -- 11:22, 9th place in AG
  • Weiden Strassenlauf 10K -- 2nd place OA
  • Kraichgau Bundesliga Sprint Triathlon -- 3rd scorer for team

  • Ironcat (Ironman distance, L'Ampolla, Spain) -- 10:09, 1st overall woman
  • Ironman Frankfurt, European Championships -- 10:32, 5th place in AG
  • Challenge Roth Relay - swim leg, 1:06
  • Enea Poznan Triathlon (Half Distance) -- 4:56, 1st AG

  • 70.3 Mallorca -- 5:10:25, 4th place in age group
  • 70.3 Berlin -- 4:54:54, 3rd place in age group
